The **Duemilanove-compatible ProtoShield Prototyping Expansion Board** is the perfect companion for your Arduino projects. Designed to be used in conjunction with Arduino boards like the UNO R3, this expansion board allows you to **quickly prototype electronic circuits**—right on top of your Arduino setup.
With support for **direct soldering of components** as well as **mini breadboard connectivity**, you get the flexibility of both temporary and permanent circuit design.

Dual Functionality: Solder or Breadboard

You can either solder components directly onto the board’s small prototyping area or use the included mini breadboard (170 tie points) for plug-and-play convenience.
The breadboard attaches securely to the shield using double-sided adhesive (note: sold separately from the main circuit board), allowing you to test components without commitment and easily make changes.

Ready-to-Use Built-in Components

This ProtoShield isn’t just a blank slate—it comes with a few essential components already installed:
